You know, when I did our “Omega Labyrinth Z” interview with D3 Publisher back in May of this year I never for a second thought that the game would become cancelled on all platforms in the West. Well, I was wrong, and that even though there were no indications whatsoever of that in our interview with D3 Publisher. As a matter of fact, both we and D3 Publisher were very excited for the Western release of “Omega Labyrinth Z“.
That’s also why I got really sad and upset when I read the following tweet by PQube (and let’s not forget what a mess it must be for the retailers to refund everyone’s money…):
“Please see below the statement on the situation of #OmegaLabyrinthZ in the West. It is with sadness that we announce that the game is cancelled on both platforms and all Western regions permanently. We will not comment further on this matter. Thank you for your support.” – PQube via Twitter (25th of June 2018)
“Say fu**ing what!?” I know, that’s what I thought as well…And sadly enough, it’s all true, because “Omega Labyrinth Z” isn’t coming to the West anymore. Yes, you read it right, and here’s PQube’s official statement about the matter:
“PQube strives to release Japanese content for its fans as close to the source material as possible. In the case of Mega Labyrinth Z, while PQube has worked with all relevant age rating bodies in their respective territories, PQube must respectfully comply with the wishes of the platform holder and have therefor withdrawn any future plans for Omega Labyrinth Z’s European and North American release on Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita.” – PQube via Twitter
This is beyond messed up. Especially since everything was all good to go with “Omega Labyrinth Z” (the game has been up for pre-order for months), and gamers were super excited to give the game a try to PS4 and PS Vita (including myself). Well, Sony of Europe and America had other plans. Simply put, “Omega Labyrinth Z” isn’t coming to the West at all now (thanks so much Sony…).
In other words, the only way for us to get our hands on a PS4 or PS Vita copy of “Omega Labyrinth Z” is to import the game from Japan (Play-Asia is all sold out on the PS4 and PS Vita version of the game :S). However, it’s worth pointing out that the Japanese game has no English subtitles whatsoever. So the game is in 100% Japanese, but if that’s no problem for you, then the import option might just save your day.
On a personal level, I’m pissed off as hell at all of this, because make no mistake. This shit will happen more in the future, because don’t think for a second that Sony US and Sony Europe won’t do this to other lewd titles in the near future. From my point of view, it looks like they (Sony EU and Sony NA) want to send a clear message to lewd game developers in Asia that their games isn’t welcome in the West. I hope that I’m wrong though, but that’s what my guts feeling is telling me.
Other than that, I couldn’t help to notice that Sony EU and Sony NA has no problems with “Life of Black Tiger” since the game is still to be found on the PSN store. My point would be that “Life of Black Tiger” is a really bad game (The metacritic and gamerankings speak for itself), and yet it’s to be found on the PSN store, but “Omega Labyrinth Z” isn’t welcome there? All because of some lewd content and lewd jokes. That’s 100% bs if you ask me, because “Omega Labyrinth Z” is with no doubt a better game than “Life of Black Tiger” .
It’s also worth pointing out that “Omega Labyrinth Z” got banned in the UK back in March of this year. Why? Because the game “promotes the sexualisation of children“ (funny stuff, since the UK seems to have zero problems with a certain particular religion that likes to rape and sell children, and they’ve done in for +30 years time in England alone…But let’s focus on them damn lewd games yo! Them priorities!).
So that was the end of that, and the so-called games journalists have been enjoying all of this, because they hate “Omega Labyrinth Z” with a passion. Hell, just check out this garbage that Comicbook’s Matthew Hayes wrote about “Omega Labyrinth Z” (cuck warning!):
“And perhaps now you’re starting to see why this game was banned. The sexual themes and presentation are very often over-the-top, and players are often asked to “stimulate” the female leads by physically touching their breasts or other bits and bobs through a touch-screen, or by using the analogue sticks. A few of these characters appear, and sound, very young, which is pretty gross.” – Matthew Hayes, Comicbook
I’ve never read such a stinking pile of shit in a very long time (and that comes from someone who has covered Polygon’s and Kotaku’s garbage for years). In all seriousness, what’s up with all these cucked games journalists? They disgust me, and then we got RetardEra’s bs on top of that. I’m not joking now, because you can’t even discuss “Omega Labyrinth Z” on RetardEra, because their mods won’t allow it (as seen in the picture above).
So from my point of view, RetardEra, the SJW/PC cancer and so-called games-journalists like Matthew Hayes are the reason why we’re even in this fu**ing mess. Because they keep on pushing for censorship and cancellations of game titles like “Omega Labyrinth Z” (not to mention the fact that they try to shame game developers, publishers and gamers that like lewd games when ever they can). Anyways, I/we will do whatever we can to fight this SJW/PC/cuck cancer, because lewd games matter!
As for here and now though, if you would like to get your hands on a copy of “Omega Labyrinth Z”, then you got the following options to pick from:
1. Import the Japanese PS4 or PS Vita version
2. Hope for a PC-release via Steam, GOG and other similar services
3. Pray for Matrix Software and D3 Publisher to put English option into the console version of the game
And with that said, what’s your take on this topic? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section down below!
