Everything goes in the land of video games
Less than one week before Christmas last year, I had a very odd but interesting conversation with one of our readers (I think he/she prefer to be anonymous). Anyhow, we talked about a subject which I have wanted to cover for a couple of months time now. However, I have avoided the topic though. As I wasn´t quite sure how I should approach the subject without sounding cheesy, creepy or perverted to the max. Yes, I´m of course talking about the fact that there are groups that make nudity mods and porn movies based on famous video game franchises and game characters.
And that´s something, which has become really popular over time. I mean, sure. Nude mods, doujin´s and video game hentai parodies have existed for a very long time now. Nevertheless, since more and more games have support for really advance modding tools (and even if they don´t, the PC mod community tend to sort that out in no time). We´ve been given plenty of nude modes for games such as “Fallout 4“, “DOA5: Last Round“, “Skyrim“, “Half-Life 2“, “GTA5“, “The Sims 4” with many more.
The rise of the nudity mods
Actually, nowadays it´s just a matter of time before someone creates a nude mod for the really big AAA games. For example, “Fallout 4” and “DOA5: LR” got a nude mod very shortly after their PC launch (most of the time it takes less than 48 hours before the very first nude mode gets uploaded to the Internet). And that had me thinking, because it would be really interesting to know how many males and females that have downloaded nude or XXX rated mods for their games? Especially since it seems like “some” people always assume that it´s just males who have sex fantasies, urges and perverted thoughts. In my own experience though, females are just as perverted as men (if not more so).
Females love nudity and sex in video games too
However, in my opinion, females are not as loud and upfront about it as men are when it comes to XXX-related matters (they like to keep stuff like that for themselves for most part). Even so, I still remember the days when I used to work for a big retailer in Sweden. Long story short, quite a few female customers bought both XXX video games and hentai movies from the company that I worked for at the time. I also remember when I worked for a computer support company, and a young lady specifically pointed out that she didn´t want anyone to mess with her The Sims 2 folder (I later found out that she had installed nude mods for the game). And just the other day I heard that Yaoi hentai and Yaoi video games are really popular in Asia (especially in China for some odd reason) among females (I read that in one of the latest editions of the economist).
My point would be this. I think it´s time for “some” people to reevaluate their thoughts about video game sex and nudity being just for males only, because it´s not. I actually know quite a few females who enjoy XXX mods and naughty video games. I don´t think that they would admit it publicly though, but then again. Very few would do that, especially if it could harm their careers. Anyhow, you get the idea. I would also like to mention another interesting topic which I stumble up on while writing this article. And that would be the fact that there is a huge trend in the porn industry right now when it comes to video games. I mean, there are even nude cosplay sites and real-life porn movies that are based on video games now. So in a funny way, I think it´s safe to say that video games have never been as popular as they are now (since pretty much everyone wants a piece of the pie).
The hardcore video game porn movies
I have also noticed that 3D animated video game porn movies are on the rise. And I think it´s safe to say that StudioFOW owns that scene (I couldn´t add any uncensored StudioFOW movies or pictures to this post, since most of their creations are very “brutal”) . And I’m not even exaggerating either, since StudioFOW has made 3D hardcore porn movies such as:

And while I was talking to some of our readers about this, I thought of another thing. Two things actually. 1. I wonder if any publishers or developers (Team Ninja, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics for example) have ever had any thoughts about suing groups such as StudioFOW? And 2. Some “people” really dislike StudioFOW creations, nudity mods and such. Well, I´ll start with the first one.
I´m not 100% sure if the copyright law is the same throughout the whole world. However, I think most XXX video game creators get away with what they do, as long as they don´t charge anything for their creations (or if they avoid using any famous names, logos and so on). As it seems like most developers and publishers cares very little about fandom creations (no matter if it´s art, hentai, nudity mods, porn or whatever). Heck, I wouldn´t be all that surprised to hear that the “real” reason behind why they don´t care, is simply because the XXX content boost their sales. I will have to check up on that to find out if it´s true though, as I have no such stats or facts at this time.
As for number 2 (“some” people Vs nudity mods and hardcore porn movies). I understand where people are coming from, because some fans prefer to have only one picture in mind of their most beloved video game characters (don´t you ruin my childhood memories you bastard!). And I´m cool with that, but like I have stated in many of my previous articles. No one is forcing them (or you) to install any nudity mods, or to watch porn movies starring your favorite game characters. And that´s the beautiful thing with freedom of choice, because you can do as you please.
And in my opinion, the games industry and the world of video games have matured a whole lot since the early 2000s. In a way, it feels like the games industry (and the world of games) have become a full-grown adult. And that´s also why we have games such as “Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3“, “HuniePop“, “Mother Russia Bleeds“, tons of high-quality nudity mods and XXX movies like the ones StudioFOW has created. Sure, not everyone will like that of course, but I see it like this. People are free to do whatever they like. And that´s the kind of freedom that I love and fight for.
