NEW YORK — SEPTEMBER 18, 2026 — Indie developer ODIUS and publisher Loopr Partners today revealed MY CAT SCATTERED GAMES: Tidy Videogame Supermarket, a cozy organizing simulator about cleaning up the world’s most chaotic video game store. The game is coming to Steam on October 9, 2026.

In MY CAT SCATTERED GAMES, players take on the aftermath of a feline disaster: a mischievous cat has scattered 5,798 games and consoles throughout a video game supermarket, before somehow getting itself trapped inside a claw machine. To get the cat back, players must restore order to the store, one game at a time.

The job sounds simple enough. Pick up a game, identify its platform, find the right section, and put it back on the shelf. But with thousands of discs, cartridges, consoles, and other gaming treasures scattered across the store, keeping everything organized is easier said than done.

Each shelf can hold up to three different games and ten copies of each title, giving players plenty of room to develop their own sorting strategy. As the store gradually comes back together, players can discover parody game covers, jokes, and references inspired by different eras of video game history.

Cleaning up the store also unlocks new abilities designed to make the process more efficient. Players can find matching copies, highlight suitable shelves, sort the games they are carrying, and speed up their organization as they work through the enormous mess.

But there’s more to the cleanup than simply filling shelves.

The supermarket is divided into three areas, each containing a locked safe. By correctly organizing the shelves, players can unlock all three safes and uncover the digits needed to complete the final three-digit code. Enter it into the claw machine, free the cat, and finally discover whether all that cleaning was worth it.

Thankfully, there’s no rush. MY CAT SCATTERED GAMES has no timers, no game over, and no customers demanding to speak to the manager. Players can take their time, explore the store, and enjoy the satisfaction of watching an enormous mess slowly become perfectly organized.
