Help survivors settle and thrive as you build and manage your castle settlement in a land reclaimed by nature. Use freeform construction tools to build a new home for your settlers, provide them roles to shape their lives, and construct a stronghold to defend them from bandits and beasts. Research and craft medieval tech; construct, furnish, and decorate your chambers, workshops, chapels, and libraries; and build impenetrable defenses to survive raids and create the perfect stronghold, all in a dynamic sandbox world. Today’s 1.0 update introduces major new gameplay features, functionality and endgame events to launch the game into 1.0, including a fully-overhauled progression system, the introduction of Grand Objectives, improved Tutorials and player onboarding, new buildings, rooms, settler roles and events, major Quality of Life improvements, and much more. GAME FEATURES:

BUILD FROM THE ASHES – From three lost travellers to a thriving walled city, build greatness from desolation. Use 3D terrain tools to create the perfect stronghold, from sprawling multi-storey forts to winding underground caverns. Construct, furnish and decorate your chambers, workshops, chapels, libraries and more, using stone, clay, and other gathered materials.
MANAGE MEDIEVAL LIFE – Each settler is a unique character. From savage brawlers to experts in animal handling, identify each of your villagers’ personalities to assign them to roles best suited to them. A happy settler is key to a happy settlement.
SURVIVE RAIDS – Build impenetrable defenses and set traps against unrelenting waves of raiders. Research and craft medieval tech, arm your settlers and command them in battle. Tailor your strategy to your villager’s skills, and upgrade them through hunting and combat.
TOTAL SANDBOX CREATIVITY – Explore your randomly-generated multi-level map and manipulate it to your will. Terraform the earth and water for construction, design, or military strategy. Build up or dig down, go humble or baronial, and use the modding tools to unearth a whole new level of creative freedom.
