Press release:
Indie games publisher Awaken Realms and indie games developer Fardust, are today very happy and proud to announce that their dark fantasy RPG Shards of Order is coming to PC via Steam on July 28, 2026 at 6 PM CET.
About Shards of Order:
Shards of Order is a dark fantasy RPG that throws out the deckbuilding rulebook. No turns. No mana. Every enemy acts on a visible countdown, and every card you play winds those counters up or down, shifting the whole flow of the fight. Time is your resource. Misjudge it and your team crumbles.
What makes it different:
No turns, no mana.
Combat runs on a unique time mechanic. Each enemy shows exactly when it acts next, and your cards push those moments closer or further away. You’re managing one clock for the whole party, not trading blows turn by turn.
Three heroes, one shared deck.
Every card you add changes the drawing odds for everyone. Build around a single hero, or spread the strength across the party. Gear matters too: weapons and armor inject unique cards straight into the shared deck, so every equipment choice is a deckbuilding choice.
A full RPG, not a roguelike deckbuilder.
Three distinct characters with their own skill trees, playstyles, and personal arcs. Level up, customize equipment, make dialogue choices, pass skill checks, and fight handcrafted bosses across three regions. Restore the broken Laws that once held life, death, and time in place, but know that every Law you bring back draws the eye of an all-seeing God a little closer.
