The Tokyo-based (Japan) indie games publisher Phoenixx Inc. and indie games developer ALICE IN DISSONANCE, today announced with great thrill and happiness that their sci-fi fantasy visual novel “fault – StP – LIGHTKRAVTE” (which is the latest entry in the cinematic sci-fi-meets-fantasy visual novel series with more than 500,000 copies sold), is now available for the Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo Eshop.

The fault series returns with its first full release since fault – milestone two side: above, which released on console in 2020. Take in a story that combines cinematic flair and style combined with a compelling novel-length script, and sets the stage for the events in the other fault games.

Experience the story of Khaji, a young boy who seeks to leave his mundane life on the family orchard behind and chase his dreams of becoming a respected painter in the kingdom of Rughzenhaide – regardless of his level or artistic talent. Khaji runs into familiar characters to longtime fault fans and new faces who will challenge both his skills and beliefs, as he becomes drawn into a world where magic and science coexist.

fault – StP – LIGHTKRAVTE can be enjoyed by both longtime fans and newcomes alike with a story that takes place five years before the events of fault – milestone one. For those new to the series, the Switch version contains a dictionary feature designed to help explain established terms, characters, and plot points and get newcomers up to speed and into the world as quickly as possible.

Previous fault enthusiasts can enjoy meeting familiar characters and discover more about their origins and how they became the series stalwarts beloved by fans, such as seeing the origins of Ritona before she became the princess’ guardian.
