Windows 10 Home
Windows 10 Home is going to be the base version of Windows 10. It comes with all the new features Microsoft promised and a lot more. Cortana, the original Start Menu, and the new Edge Browser is included in the OS. This is the version most people will install on their computers.
Windows 10 Pro
Windows 10 Pro is going a step further than Windows 10 Home. This version is going to add data encryption tools, remote desktop support, and a few others specifically meant for Small Business Owners. This version will be key for those who care most of all about private tools, online safety, and keeping things in order.
Windows 10 Mobile
Windows 10 Mobile is the version you’ll receive on your Windows phone. If you have a Windows 8 compatible device you’ll receive the free upgrade option on July 29th. The better news is you’ll be able to use all those features on the go with your phone and more once you receive your update.
Windows 10 Enterprise
This is meant for large companies who need to split he OS across several computers.
Windows 10 Education
This one will be for school use for kids.
Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise
This one will be used for corporate smartphones, to go hand in hand with regular Enterprise.
Windows IoT Core
This is for the designer at heart. It will mostly be used for those who are fans of 3D printing, graphic design students, aspiring gamers, and even those who want to design Artificial Intelligence.
When can you experience all the madness that is Windows 10? You’ll be able to do so in as little as 6 days. On July 29th all the updates will be made available to all users who wish to partake. And why wouldn’t you? You’ll have one year of Windows 10 for free, after which you’ll have to pay to get the latest version from Microsoft. This should come as no surprise to most consumers, as Microsoft has begun to monetize a lot of their products as of late—starting with Microsoft Office, and following to Microsoft Windows.
