A game doesn’t necessarily have to be complex, long or have advance graphics to be good. Just take Terry Cavanaghs F2P action/platform game “Don´t Look Back“for example (for browser, iOS and Android).
Because even though the game is about 20 minutes long, “Don´t Look Back” feels much longer than it really is. And you will remember the game long after that you´ve finished it as well.
As it´s the kind of game that makes you think deep philosophical thoughts. And “if” you like the thought of that, then you should try “Don´t Look Back” asap!
About Don´t Look Back (copy and paste from Wikipedia):
Don’t Look Back is a retro styled platform game playable through Adobe Flash and designed by Terry Cavanagh. The game is a modern interpretation of the Orpheus and Eurydice Greek legend.
The game is a combination of two ideas; Cavanagh wished to create a “silly shooter” where the player’s actions were “redeemed” after being shown from a different perspective, he also wished to create a game where the gameplay acted as a metaphor of the player’s actions. Critics praised the game’s addictiveness and presentation, but had different opinions over the game’s high difficulty level.
