London, UK – August 26th.
The UK-based indie games publisher Modern Wolf (a video game publisher that’s mostly known for their weird and wonderful strategy games), today announced that they brought a brand-new game title (“Cantata“) + a handful of game demos (which are available to play on Steam right now) to the Gamescom 2021 event.

Firstly, as a brand new announcement to their label, “Cantata” from developers Afterschool Studio joins the pack at Modern Wolf. As part of the announcement, a demo will be available to play on Steam. Set on a mysterious alien planet, Cantata is a character led, sci-fi, turn-based battle game that sees you exploring huge maps in local or online multiplayer in a deep and tactical playstyle that players can edit using the in-game map and sprite editor.

Secondly, a new demo arrives for players to enjoy as fan-renowned “Mechajammer” from Whalenought Studios opens its digital doors once again. In this cyberpunk-themed open-world exploration game choices have consequences and escaping the concrete jungle is the only thing on you and your squad’s minds.

Expanding on their list of Gamescom entries, “Out There: Oceans of Time” from Mi-Clos Studios & Goblinz Studios will also release a new demo for players to enjoy in their take on the explorative roguelite turn-based genre that Modern Wolf are known for. Manage your resources carefully and explore interstellar wonders while maintaining your ship, crew and diplomatic relationships before reaching one of the several endings the game features.

Finally, “Skeleton Crew” will be available on Steam with a demo for players to kick their friends at. Fight with your friends heads in local or 1-4 player online multiplayer featuring a diverse gothic cast, a beautiful hand-painted artwork style and a whole lot of undead foes in this 2D platforming brawl-em-up.
