I just received a mail from Twitch regarding their content appeals process. Because apparently, there has been an update to that policy and system. And this update applies to all Twitch partner program and non-partner broadcasters. However, the old audio recognition appeal process will be available for everyone else. And you can read all about it in Twitch´s news mail down below:

“Updated Content Appeals Process

Today, we’re releasing a new way to submit an appeal if you believe one of your videos has been incorrectly flagged by our Audio Recognition system.

The new functionally will initially be available to all members of the Twitch Partner Program and non-partner broadcasters whose videos are in HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) format, which is roughly 25% of non-partner broadcasters. For those broadcasters not included in the introductory rollout, the Audio Recognition appeal process will function as it currentlydoes today. All broadcasters will be able to appeal a muted VOD regardless of format.

For a sneak peek at what the new appeal process looks like, head over to our blog for a step-by-step walk through and screenshots.

If you have any questions or comments, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment on the blog or email [email protected].”
