I´ve been playing a lot of different shooter and shoot-em-up games since the 90s. But even so, i can´t quite say that i´ve played a lot of 2.5D submarine shooters.

Especially not the kind of shooter that allows you to rotate your submarine in a 360° angle. But you can do that and much more in Howling Hamster´s (it´s an Irish indie studio) upcoming shooter game “Trench” (for Windows).

Not the kind of fish (monster?) that you would like to meet irl.

I just watched the latest video of “Trench”, and i have to say that there´s a lot of potential to be found in the game. So i´m keeping a close eye on “Trench” from now on! (which btw are set for a late 2015 release).

About Trench:
You’re a scavenger piloting a small salvage submarine that must journey into to deepest trench’s of the ocean and blast the shit out of enormous sea monsters. Kicking ass and saving the World, now how could that not be fun? Trench is a 2.5D Shooter for the PC, in which your submarine can rotate 360° in order to blast alien sea monsters that will be coming at you from all angles.
